- Clearly the traumatic events in his childhood influenced his behaviors as an adult. The island brought out what must have always been inside. He can be selfless and care about others. Plus how can somewhat that hot be all bad!

- The way Sawyer was in his pre-island life was quite bad indeed. That and the way he has toyed with Kate make me see not many redeeming qualities about him (though of course his sexiness gets me every time!)
