From the article: 'Lost' Season 6 Spoilers
Lost Season 6 is the finale season. Whatever doesn't get answered, isn't going to get answered. What are your predictions (big or small) on anything Lost Season 6? Make Your Prediction

Jacob Tried to Kill Jack

I think Jacob tried to kill Jack at first when he rolled down the hill and nearly fell off the cliff. I think he did this so he could take Jack's form and get the Losties to kill the Dharma folk. This is why he's brought the Black Rock and Losties, so he could protect himself from dying.

Finale

All of the people of Flight 815 will restart living at Los Angeles airport. Jacob is the simbol of prophet but......... who is or are coming?

Stab in the dark...

I believe that the 2008 we have been seeing on the island is an alternative timeline created from Jughead going off. I think that the people in 1977 will continue their story in 1977 and may be taken to live in the mysterious 'temple' which keeps being mentioned, until present day. I do think that the people on Flight 815, which never crashed in the alt timeline and instead landed in LAX, will somehow also return to the island. Perhaps some of them were somehow on the Ajira flight, but after the plane crashed, they hid? That would be awesome. I do think that Jack will take the place of Jacob, and Locke the MIB; perhaps they were ALWAYS these characters, skipping through time? Hmmm.

Jack's Fault

I think if Jack would have saved young Ben none of this would have happened.

Jacob is Vincent

Jacob knew it was going to happen so in a different time line he made himself into a dog, just like Black Shirt made himself into Locke! Although Black Shirt knew what he was doing, Jacob also was one step ahead. That's why he didn't mind dieing, he knew he would be ok. I think Juliet is a big part (she wasn't touched by Jacob) and the idea of two time lines sounds great. I think it will definitely play out that way! How does Bernard know Juliet was going to die? Notice that he asks her if she is sure she doesn't want to stay for tea! When Jacob touches the Losties it's like he is moving chess pieces! I think there are two Christians maybe both Jacob and Black Shirt are using his body for there own needs! Desmond will return and he will skip through time because I think that's what he does and also did anyone notice that Miles' power is a bit like the black smoke guy...if he knows everything about Locke's past...like Miles can kind of!

Charlie?

So I have looked at all the predictions on this site and more! I want to talk about Charlie!! Well try to get a hold of this Charlie being little Charlie ( as in Desmond's and Penny's son). Think about it! One of my friends suggested it! Maybe yes maybe no. I think that Claire will be back faster than you can you can say Jacob! She disappeared way too fast for my liking. This means that she will be back twice as fast as she left! Jacob represents good and "black shirt" is bad. That I am sure of. Jacob is definitely on the good side. The question is, what side are the Losties on? They aren't aware of sides yet. The only people that fully know what is going on is Jacob, black shirt, and Ilana's crew that discovered dead Locke. It is all very confusing and thrilling because we don't know anything but what we can string together from the first 5 seasons and the the first episode of the last season is called LA X!!! Wow I am so pumped for that! Going to be amazing!

The War that is Coming

A war is coming between Jacob's forces and the Man in Black. The Smoke Monster is a neutral entity. By the end of Season 5, nearly all the major characters had died (what Richard said). However, the detonation of the bomb changed the course of history and events play out differently in an alternative universe (think of a Flash SIDEWAYS). However, even in this universe the characters are bound by a destiny to reach the island. They will find their way back to the island about 1/3rd of the way through the season. Speaking of The Island, it represents a world in which people are not limited by the bounds of a larger society. This allowed Jin/Sun to find love again, Kate/Sawyer/Sayid to become heroes despite the sins of their past life, and the inner warrior within Locke to manifest itself. Ultimately, The Island allows one to find their true self. Lookout for blue-suited Christian (light) and brown-shirted Christian (dark). Jack and Locke will be of vital importance in the end.

Jacob is Claire's Son

I think the loop is Claire's and so is Jacob, and time is nothing but another room. Widmore is the evil. Purgatory maybe, but season 6, the end already? I think there is more to find out about the island than that one season could cover.

Alternate Flashes

I think that in the sixth season the "flasbacks" would be more flashes of an alternate reality...Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof say, "There will not be flaskbacks or flash forwards it's gonna be different, so I guess the flashes will be an alternate reality but with the same ending to re-enforce the meaning of destiny :O

Characters Will Die

Put it this way, by the end of season 6, I don't know when, how, where or why but either Jack or Sawyer is going to have to do something (i.e. sacrifice themselves to save the others and bring the ones that died back to life). Kate will survive for sure and so will Hurley, I don't know what other characters will live.

Brilliantly Done Purgatory

I think we will find out that the island really is purgatory, and I will be perfectly OK, even happy with that. The Dharma group died trying to figure out life/immortality and continued to do so on the island. The Losties died suddenly in the crash but some had to keep going to make choices before moving on. The children went straight to heaven, and Jacob is St Peter. The smoke monster is the Devil. Or maybe not.. (I love Lost!!!)

The Mystery of Lost..Dun...dun....dun

The bomb had to go off, that's why the statue only has one foot. I also think the loophole is either Black Shirt using Locke to get Ben to kill Jacob, or that there are two leaders at one time. Everyone thinks Locke is the leader, but Locke is dead. That's why Fake Locke made sure Richard told the real Locke, (when Richard gave him the compass), that Locke had to die to save his friends. He said that so that the people would follow the fake Locke. Just a theory.
—Guest I love being LOST!!

Lab Experiment

I believe that all of this is basically a lab experiment and the Losties are the subjects. The whispers heard in the jungle are coming from the people conducting the experiment. They are observing the island and whispering among themselves. They have brought all of the elements together and placed them on the island (their lab). When people die on the island, their role in the experiment is over and they are returned to their former life. The people conducting the experiment are probably non-human, and need to study human behavior for their research in an isolated environment that they can completely control without interference. At the conclusion of season 6 we will find out who these people are and what their plans are. People like Richard and probably Ben are aware of the experiment and are assisting. All the strange things on the island are put there to test the human reactions.

Vincent

Did anyone ask what happened to Vincent (Walt's dog)? I think that in the end the man that is coming through the smoke will do something that all of the actors will forget what happended and they will go home happy, but Vincent will know everything.

It's All About Michael and Walt

The two characters that were pivotal at the beginning of the series have been way too silent for way too long, that being Michael and Walter. Watch for these two to play the pivotal role as to the entire outcome of the series. Remember way back when there was the scene between the two of them that showed Walt reading a COMIC BOOK about a POLAR BEAR and a SMOKE MONSTER? Remember how Walt was once reading a story about birds and then suddenly a bird crashed into the window and died? The ending will be about CAUSE AND EFFECT! "If this happens then that will happen"! When you think deeply about it, the entire series has been based on this very premise. Of course, I could be way off base with this concept, but then again, that is the beauty of the LOST SERIES. As with millions of others, I cannot wait to see how Season 6 plays out. There are so many ways that they can end the story and still have it be SHOCKING and MEMORABLE! Kudos to the producers, whichever way it ends.
