Lost Season 4 DVD
First they showed some features that will be on the Lost Season 4 bonus DVD, including some clips from Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) talking about Daniel and a great clip from L. Scott Caldwell (Rose) saying, "Why does the guy have to wear a nice tie on the beach?"
We also saw Damon and Carlton in a flash forward. Poor Damon's eye was gouged out by an angry fan after one of their favorite characters was killed off.
Sponsor - The Dharma Initiative
Damon announced that this year's sponsor is the Dharma Initiative. As the sponsor, the Dharma Initiative had the head of Octagon Global Recruiting, Hans Van Eeghen, speak for a few moments. Hans pointed out that they were giving eligibility tests for volunteer positions for the Dharma Initiative. He showed a clip of some people testing.
In the clip, the testers were asked a series of questions, such as: What does terror sound like? What's your favorite animal? Describe your first kiss in three words.
Hans was not pleased with the results they had gotten so far and asked that everyone go online to take the eligibility test at www.dharmawantsyou.com (available July 28th and beyond).
He did mention three exceptional recruits and asked them to come on stage. After applause, he took them to the Dharma booth for the next phase.
The Surprise Guest
An argument broke out between Damon and Carlton over the action figure of Jack. One thought it looked just like him, while the other said it didn't. Suddenly, Matthew Fox (Jack) walked out to settle the argument. It was a great moment and the crowd loved it.
Q & A
Damon and Carlton answered lots of Lost questions from Lost fans, but were interrupted when one of the Dharma recruits who had left with Hans came running on stage saying he had a video to show. On the video, we saw that he'd recorded going with Hans. They showed him an old video of Dr. Marvin Candle in street clothes from the 80s. With a crying baby in the background, Dr. Candle, saying his real name is Pierre Chang, explains that there is going to be a purge and they are all going to die and that the Dharma Initiative must be resurrected.
The recruit was asked to leave and Hans Van Eeghen returned to the stage and shut down the panel.
