• The plane that was found in the ocean could be close to the island. The magnetometer was picking up a lot of anomalies, which it would near the island. Of course, it could be somewhere else with some kind of magnetic field, but seems more likely that it would be close to the island.

• Someone may have gotten Frank drunk on the day Flight 815 took off to keep him from piloting the plane so that they could control what happened to the plane.

• Maybe Minkowski couldn't come to the phone because he is on his way to the island.
