Cabin Fever Theories
- Jacob had something to do with Locke being born, with his whole existence. I think Jacob may have created Locke in order to save himself.
- Richard wanted Locke to pick the bottle of sand, which would mean that the island belonged to him. Because he didn't pick the sand, Richard knew it wasn't time for Locke to come save the island.
- Ben says he should have realized at the time that trying to kill Locke was pointless. Now that he is not so emotional, he realizes that the island won't let Locke die because Locke still has work to do.
- I think if Locke would have gone to "Mittelos Laboratories" Richard would have taken him to the island.
Observations from Cabin Fever
- Horace is wearing a Dharma uniform from The Flame Station.
- Five year old Locke is playing backgammon when Richard comes to visit him. Backgammon is a favorite of Locke's on the island. He played several times with Walt.
- As Keamy walks away from the captain, his phone is beeping the Morse code of Daniel asking what happened to the doctor.
- Richard Alpert talked to the teacher about Locke going to Mittlelos Laboratories. When Richard recruited Juliet, he told her he worked for Mittlelos Bioscience.
- The nurse said Locke was a miracle shortly after he was born, then later Matthew Abaddon said that it was a miracle that Locke survived the eight story fall.
