Jack passes Isabel in the hallway while Isabel takes Juliet to the room in the Hydra.Later, while Jack is in the cage, Isabel reads his tattoos in Chinese and asks if he knows what they mean. Jack says he knows what it means, but Isabel points out that Chinese is a difficult language and things can get lost in translation.
Isabel takes Jack to a room where Tom sits and Juliet is handcuffed to a chair. She asks if Juliet had told Jack to let Ben die. Jack says that he was lying, trying to create chaos among the Others. Isabel asks why he's lying.
Later, Jack asks Ben to save Juliet and Ben writes a note, which Jack and Alex take to Isabel. She says that the execution has been taken off the table, but that Juliet will be marked.
As they prepare to leave the island, Isabel reads Jack's tattoos in English as, "He walks amongst us, but he is not one of us." Jack says that that is what they say, but that is not what they mean.
