  • Episode 3x8, Flashes Before Your Eyes
    Desmond went into her pawn shop to buy a ring for Penny, but when he decided on the ring, she told him he couldn't have it and said that he was supposed to have second thoughts and not buy the ring. She said he breaks Penny's heart, which puts him on a path to get on the island and push the button and save the world. She tells him that he can't change what is going to happen.
  • Episode 5x2, The Lie
    Ms. Hawking makes markings on a chalk board and on a computer as a large pendulum swings behind her making markings on a chalk board on the floor. She goes upstairs and tells Ben that he only has 70 hours to finish what he needs to do. He says it's not enough time and she says if he can't get them all to come back then, "God help us all." [p
  • Episode 5x5, This Place is Death
    Ben takes Jack and Sun to the church to see Ms. Hawking. Desmond gets there at the same time. Ben walks in and says, "Hello, Eloise." She responds with, "Hello, Benjamin."
    She looks at who he brought and says that she thought she told him to bring all of them and he says this is the best he can do on short notice. She says it will have to do and they should get started.
  • Episode 5x6, 316
    Eloise takes Ben, Jack, Sun, and Desmond to the basement of the church and shows them the large pendulum. She says that the Dharma Initiative called this The Lamppost and that a clever fellow started looking for where the island was going to be. She gives Jack a binder and tells him it's all the flights that will pass through the window of the island.
    She points out that Ajira Airways Flight 316 will go right through the window and they all need to be on it and recreate the original situation as best they can.

    She tells Desmond that the island is not done with him yet and Desmond says that he is done with the island and storms out.

    Eloise pulls Jack aside and tells him that Locke is acting as a proxy for his father and Jack must give Locke something of his father's. She gives Jack Locke's suicide note.

  • Episode 5x14, The Variable
    In Daniel's flashback, as a young boy, Eloise tells him he has to stop playing the piano because he has a destiny to do lots of great work. As he grows up, Eloise makes him make great sacrifices to further his work. After he graduates from Oxford, she gives him a journal.

    When he grows up, she tells him to accept the offer from Charles Widmore to go to an island. When she later sees Charles Widmore, she says that she had to send her son to the island and Charles says, "He's my son, too," and she slaps him.

    Back in 1977, Eloise shoots Daniel when he shows up at their camp. As he's dying, Daniel realizes that his mother knew this was what would happen and she'd sent him anyway.

  • Episode 5x15, Follow the Leader
    In 1977, Eloise stands over Daniel's body, stunned that he had said he was her son and remembering him from when she was seventeen. When Kate and Jack are brought in, she asks if they came with Daniel, and Jack admits that they did.

    Eloise has them sent to her tent and then goes to talk to them. She says that whatever they tell her, she will believe them, and that her handwriting is in the front of Daniel's journal, but she doesn't remember writing it. Jack says that she hasn't written it yet. He tells her they need to detonate the bomb and she agrees to take them to it.

    When she tells Charles that she is taking Jack and Kate to the bomb he says he is worried about her in her condition.

    Eloise takes Jack and Kate, along with Richard and Erik, who is then shot by Sayid, to the creek. She says they have to swim under the pond in order to get to the bomb. Richard, Jack, Eloise, and Sayid swim under the rocks and come up in a tunnel, where Eloise leads them to the bomb. She uncovers it and says, "Now what?"

  • Episode 5x16, The Incident
    In 1977, Eloise wants Jack to take the bomb to the Swan site. Richard thinks it's a bad idea, partly because she is pregnant, but she says that's why she has to help them go through with this. She is going to lead Jack and Sayid, but Richard knocks her out, telling Jack that he is protecting their leader and Jack and Sayid are on their own now.
