Vincent is seen by Jack, wandering free in the forest just after the plane crash.

Locke makes a dog whistle and when he blows it, Vincent comes running. Locke takes the dog to Michael so that Michael could get in good with his son Walt, who had been looking for Vincent since the crash.

Vincent barks at the wild boars in the fuselage.
Episode 1x14, Special
Mad at his father for forbidding him to spend time with Locke, Walt takes Vincent and goes into the jungle. Vincent barks and then runs off.
Episode 1x23, Exodus Part 1
Walt gives Vincent to Shannon to look after while he goes on the raft with his father in the hopes of getting rescued. Vincent swims after Walt, but turns back on Walt's instruction.
Episode 2x1, Man of Science, Man of Faith
Shannon goes in the jungle to look for Vincent and Sayid chases after her. She sees Walt, but he disappears when Sayid comes toward her with Vincent.
Episode 2x6, Abandoned
Shannon has Walt's clothing and tells Vincent to find Walt. Vincent leads her to Boone's grave. Later, Vincent leads Shannon into the jungle, but runs off. Shannon and Sayid see Walt and when Shannon runs after him, she is shot by Ana-Lucia.
Episode 2x8, Collision
Vincent is reunited with Michael on the beach.
Episode 2x22, Three Minutes
Vincent brings Charlie a Virgin Mary statue. Charlie follows Vincent to Sawyer's tent, where he finds the stash of statues.
Episode 3x10, Tricia Tanaka is Dead
Vincent brings Hurley and Charlie a human arm holding a key chain. He leads Hurley to a Dharma bus and hangs out as Hurley, Charlie, Jin, and Sawyer fix the bus.
Episode 3x14, Expose
The Losties think that Paulo and Nikki are dead and cover them with a tarp, but Vincent pulls it off.
