Sarah stands up at the wedding rehearsal and speaks on how she was in an accident and broke her back. Jack said he would fix her, and he did, which means that now she can dance at their wedding. She tells Jack he doesn't have to write his vows, but he assures her that he wants to. The two are married in an outside wedding. - Episode 2x1, Man of Science, Man of Faith
Jack has to make a decision whether to save an older man or a younger woman that come into the ER after an accident. He works on the woman, Sarah, and the man, Adam Rutherford (Shannon's father, Boone's step-father), dies. Sarah says she wants to dance at her wedding and Jack promises her that she will. Later, Jack is upset because he has failed. He talks with Sarah's fiancee, who decides he can't handle a cripple and leaves. When Jack talks with Sarah, he sees that a miracle has happened and she is able to wiggle her toes. - Episode 2x11, The Hunting Party

Jack is fighting the divorce and wants to know who Sarah is seeing. He suspects that she might be seeing his father. When he sees the guy she's with, he asks his name and Sarah says it doesn't matter who he is, it only matters who Jack is not. - Episode 3x22, Through the Looking Glass
Sarah meets Jack at the emergency room where he is being treated after saving a woman and her son who were in an accident. Jack asks why she's there and Sarah says that she's still listed as his emergency contact. Sarah is visibly pregnant.
