Hibbs gives Sawyer information on where to find the man (in Sydney) who slept with his mother and stole from his father, causing his father to shoot his mother and then himself. Sawyer can't bring himself to shoot Frank, until after he talks with Jack's father. Once Sawyer shoots Frank, he realizes, by what Frank says, that Hibbs had set him up and Sawyer had killed the wrong man.Just before Frank died he muttered, "It will come back around." Sawyer later heard those words whispered on the island.
