Episode 2x7, The Other 48 Days
Ana-Lucia does what she can to help the survivors right after the tail section of the plane falls into the ocean. She gives a girl, Emma, CPR, and saves her. She promises that she will get Emma to her mother. Ana-Lucia seems to bond with Emma and her brother, Zack.Ana-Lucia is the clear leader of the Tailies. She is upset when they are attacked and people are taken, but especially upset that the children were taken.
Ana-Lucia moves the group into the jungle, and suspecting Nathan of being one of their attackers, she digs a pit and throws him inside. After Nathan disappears, Ana-Lucia figures out that Goodwin was one of the attackers, and she kills him.
When Sawyer, Michael, and Jin come on their beach, having landed on their side of the island when their raft was blown up, Ana-Lucia suspects them of being their attackers. She throws them into the pit, but once she believes they were on the plane, she decides that they should all go find the other camp. She wants to leave Sawyer behind because his shoulder wound is infected and he's very sick, but finally agrees he can come in a stretcher.
Ana-Lucia, spooked by the jungle whispers, shoots and kills Shannon.
Episode 2x8, Collision
Ana-Lucia ties up Sayid and really begins to lose it. She finally lets everyone else go, and alone with Sayid, confesses that she killed the man who killed her baby when she was pregnant.Episode 2x11, The Hunting Party
Jack asks Ana-Lucia how long it will take to put together an army.Episode 2x16, The Whole Truth
Locke asks Ana-Lucia to interrogate the prisoner in the hatch. She agrees. She asks Henry his story, then comes out of the armory to tell Jack and Locke that he didn't tell her anything different than he had told them.Ana-Lucia finds Sayid and shows him the map she had gotten from Henry. Charlie sees the map too and the three set off to find Henry's balloon. That night while Charlie sleeps by the campfire, Ana-Lucia talks to Sayid. She says that all her life people haven't liked her. She tells Sayid that he has reason not to like her. Sayid says that she was just protecting her own people and that she didn't kill Shannon, "they" did.
The next day they find the clearing where the balloon is supposed to be, but it's not there. Sayid wants to go back, but Ana-Lucia insists that they look harder for the balloon.
Episode 2x17, Lockdown
Ana-Lucia thinks Henry's map is wrong and wants to look around another cliff, but Sayid wants to leave. Charlie calls them over where they notice a grave. Ana-Lucia realizes it's not raining where they are and they look up to find Henry's balloon.Episode 2x18, Dave
Ana-Lucia stops Sayid from shooting non-Henry Gale.Episode 2x19, S.O.S.
Ana-Lucia gives the gun to Jack when he goes into the jungle to try and make a trade for non-Henry. She stays at the hatch to push the button because something isn't quite right with Locke.She doesn't allow Locke to go in and talk to non-Henry because she'd given the gun to Jack.
Locke disappears and when he returns, Ana-Lucia tells him that she pushed the button for him.
Episode 2x20, Two for the Road
Ana-Lucia takes non-Henry some food. He attacks her and would have killed her if Locke hadn't come in and hit non-Henry with his crutch.Ana-Lucia asks Sawyer for a gun, but he won't give her one. She ends up sleeping with him in order to steal his gun. Left alone in the hatch, Ana-Lucia goes in to shoot non-Henry, but she can't do it.
Michael comes out and she tells him what happened. He says that he will shoot the prisoner, so Ana-Lucia gives him the gun and the combination to the armory. Instead, he apologizes and then shoots Ana-Lucia.
