Sun is attacked from behind, and no one but Sawyer knows that it's Charlie who attacked her in order to help Sawyer carry out his plans to get control of the guns.Episode 2x16, The Whole Truth
Sun is alone in her garden and is startled by rustling in the brush. When Jin steps out she is relieved, but he is angry at her for being out there by herself. He gets so mad that he rips up her garden.Sun walks through the trees by the beach and hunches over in pain. Rose and Bernard see her and ask if she's okay. She says she's fine and is adamant that they not get Jack.
Later, she asks Sawyer if she can look through the medical supplies. When he says no, she turns to walk away, but he says he will give her anything she wants for free, but she has to tell him what she wants. After a hesitation she admits that she wants a pregnancy test.
Sun walks through the jungle by herself and just as she pulls out the pregnancy test, Hurley comes into view. She hides the test behind her back and talks nervously to Hurley.
Kate and Sun sit together on the beach. Kate looks over the pregnancy test instructions. Sun thanks Kate for not asking why she is there instead of Jin. The test is positive and Sun finds it hard to believe. They go to Jack and he says the tests are really accurate.
Sun finds Jin replanting her garden. He apologizes for his mistakes and she tells him that she is pregnant. She also tells him about the doctor they had seen previously who told them that she couldn't have children. The doctor had lied, it was Jin that couldn't have children. Jin wonders how there is a baby then and Sun swears that she had never been with another man. After a pause Jin smiles and says it's a miracle. They hug and Sun looks anxious, then relieved. As Jin leaves she says she loves him, then looks surprised at saying it.
Episode 2x23, Live Together, Die Alone
Sun goes with Jin and Sayid on the sailboat to the other side of the island to meet up with Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, and Michael. He believes that Michael has been compromised and may be leading them to a trap.On the way they see a giant foot statue with four toes.
