John Locke's Season 2 Island Stories Part 2

By , About.com Guide

Episode 2x19, S.O.S.

Locke tries to recreate the diagram he saw on the blast door. He writes stuff, then scribbles it out, then throws the paper away and starts over. He concentrates so hard on the paper that he doesn't realize the timer is below four minutes and the alarm is going off. Jack tells him.

Locke gets really frustrated with the diagram and hobbles on his crutches over to the armory door and asks non-Henry if he had entered the numbers duing the lockdown. Non-Henry doesn't answer and Locke gets really angry.

On the beach, Rose sits next to Locke. He says he's done with the hatch, but she renews his faith in the island by reminding him that the island cured him and made him able to walk.

Locke goes back to the hatch and is happy with the diagram he is then able to draw.

Episode 2x20, Two for the Road

Locke saves Ana-Lucia from non-Henry by hitting him with his crutch as he tries to choke Ana-Lucia. Locke is confused why non-Henry would hurt Ana-Lucia, but he didn't do anything to Locke when he had the chance. Non-Henry says it's because Locke is one of the good ones and before he was captured, non-Henry was coming to the hatch to get Locke. Locke wants to ask more, but Kate and Jack come in with Michael. Later, Locke covers for Ana-Lucia when he sees that she doesn't want Jack to know that non-Henry attacked her. Locke goes with Jack and Kate to get the guns from Sawyer, but when he learns that Ana-Lucia has a gun and she is alone at the hatch, he tells Jack that she had been attacked.

Episode 2x21, ?

Eko dreams that Ana-Lucia tells him to help Locke. Yemi is also in the dream, telling Eko to help Locke. Yemi says to ask Locke about the question mark.

When Eko goes to the hatch, he sees that Ana-Lucia and Libby have been shot, but he's able to persuade Locke to go with him, under the guise of searching for non-Henry Gale. Eko asks Locke about the question mark and Locke acts as if he doesn't know what Eko is talking about. Eko head butts Locke.

When Locke comes to, he finally gives Eko the drawing of the blast door diagram. From the drawing, Eko tries to figure out where the question mark could be. As it gets dark, they walk through the jungle and come upon the burned out plane that fatally injured Boone. They make camp and in a dream, Locke sees Yemi calling to Eko and having him climb a cliff.

The next morning, Locke tells Eko of the dream and Eko climbs the cliff. From up above he can see a circle or a question mark on the ground where nothing is growing. He climbs down and bangs around the plane until he hits something metal in the ground. The two dig out two doors, and open them to climb down the hatch. It's another station.

They find an Orientation Video and find out that what they have found is Station Five, The Pearl Station, of the Dharma Initiative. It is an observation station, where team members are asked to record what participants of The Swan Station are doing. The Swan Station members do not know that it's an experiment or that they are under surveillance.

Locke thinks his whole life is meaningless, but Eko tells him of Eko's brother and how it can't be a coincidence for both of their planes to crash on this island. He tells Locke that his hatch work is more important than ever.

Episode 2x22, Three Minutes

Locke cuts off his splint and goes off by himself into the jungle with his pack.

Episode 2x23, Live Together, Die Alone

Locke argues with Eko over whether or not to push the button. Locke doesn't want Eko to push the button and gets Desmond to help him lock Eko out of the computer room. He tells Desmond about The Pearl station and Desmond reads the printout.

As the timer counts down, Desmond reads something that makes him believe he caused the plane crash. He wants to push the button, but Locke throws the computer on the ground.

The timer gets to zero and the whole hatch shakes. He tells Eko, "I was wrong."
