Maternity Leave Flashback Information
Flashback Character: None, but Claire recollects what happened during her abduction.Maternity Leave Island Highlights:
Claire gets quick images of what happened to her while she was abducted. Aaron is sick, so she asks Libby to help her remember, and remembers that there is medicine in some kind of room, and that Ethan was there examining her. She remembers scratching Rousseau, so wants to go to Rousseau to find the medicine. Kate isn't convinced, but doesn't want Claire to go alone, so she goes with her and they find Rousseau.Rousseau takes them through the jungle to where Claire scratched her, but then expects Claire to know where to go. Claire doesn't know, until she sees a log, which incites more memories. She remembers Ethan sneaking her outside and that he was going to take the baby only if Claire was sure.
Claire is very out of it in her abduction memories, but when she sees a familiar log, she knows they are close and she finds the doors to another hatch. They go inside, but the place has been deserted. Claire remembers Ethan talking to a man, who is a clean shaven Mr. Friendly.
In her memories, a teenage girl helps Claire to escape, even though Claire wants to stay. Rousseau finds her in the jungle and when she tries to take her back to camp, Claire struggles with her.
Through her memories, Claire realizes that Rousseau was helping her. She also knows that she and Aaron are meant to be together and is happy that Aaron seems to be getting better, even without the medicine.
Meanwhile, Jack and Locke still have Henry Gale hidden in the armory, but Eko figures out they have someone and asks to talk to him. He confesses to Henry that he killed two men on his first night on the island.
