Sawyer accuses Sayid of being a terrorist and causing the plane crash.With the group looking for higher ground to transmit with the transceiver, Sawyer pulls out a gun and kills a polar bear. Sawyer explains that he got the gun from one of the bodies, and he also got his badge. The man was a US Marshal probably transporting a prisoner.
Episode 1x3, Tabula Rasa
Coming back from trying to get the transceiver signal, Sawyer wants to walk through the jungle at night to reach the beach, while everyone else wants to make camp in the jungle. Majority rules and they end up spending the night in the jungle.Sawyer is caught in the fuselage collecting stuff amongst the dead bodies.
Sawyer shoots the Marshal to end his suffering, but shoots him in the chest, missing his heart. Jack has to finish the job.
Episode 1x7, The Moth
When sent to get Kate to tell her Jack is trapped in a cave-in, Sawyer instead hangs out with Kate, telling her after quite a while.Episode 1x8, Confidence Man
Sawyer won't give up Shannon's asthma meds. He beats up Boone, is tortured by Sayid, and asks Kate for a kiss. When Kate finally gives him the kiss, he says he doesn't have the meds.He lets Kate read his mysterious letter that is from a boy who's parents died as a result of Sawyer's con. Kate figures out that the letter wasn't written to him, but by him, and that he had taken on the identity of Sawyer.
Episode 1x16, Outlaws
Sawyer takes revenge out on a boar after it messes up his tent. He has several encounters with the boar, but when he has the chance, he doesn't kill the boar.Episode 1x17, In Translation
Sawyer plans to go with Michael on the raft. He believes that Jin set the raft on fire and he goes in the jungle, hunts down Jin, and brings him back.Episode 1x19, Deus Ex Machina
Sawyer doesn't want to see Jack about his headaches, but he's afraid he has a brain tumor. Jack determines that all he needs is some glasses.Episode 1x21, The Greater Good

Sawyer tells Jack that he met his father and that his father is proud of him. Sawyer sails away with Michael, Jin, and Walt.Episode 1x24, Exodus Part 2
When the raft's rudder comes off, Sawyer jumps in after it.Sawyer pulls his gun on the people who show up in a boat and steal Walt, but is too slow and is shot. He falls in the water.
