Special Flashback Information

Flashback Character: Michael and Walt
Flashback Highlights: Michael and his pregnant girlfriend happily shop for baby furniture. After the baby is born, Walt's mother takes him and leaves for Amsterdam for a huge job opportunity. Michael is upset and she doesn't let him see Walt anymore. Michael is hit by a car and spends months in the hospital. Walt's mother wants to pay his medical bills in exchange for Michael letting her husband adopt Walt. At 10 years old, Walt is upset that his parents aren't listening to him and suddenly a bird slams against the window and dies. Michael goes to Australia to get Walt after Walt's mother dies.

Special Island Highlights:

Michael is searching for Walt and finds him throwing knives with Locke. Michael tells him to stay away from Locke. Michael and Walt begin to build a raft to get off the island. Michael again finds Walt with Locke, and threatens to kill Locke if it happens again. Michael loses Walt again and he and Locke go into the jungle to find him. Walt is being attacked by a polar bear and Michael and Locke save him, which forms a bond between Michael and Locke, and Michael and Walt.

Charlie tells Jack and Sayid that Claire's diary mentions a black rock. Sayid says that the French woman's papers also mention a black rock and they speculate that the black rock may be where Claire is.
