Flash Forwards in Italics.
At the airport, Jack yells to Kate, "We have to go back!"
Kate slams on the brakes and drives back to Jack. She gets out and says, "We have to go back? We have to go back? Who do you think you are?" She is crying as she yells. "You call me for two days straight, stoned on your pills, and then you show up here with an obituary for Jeremy Bentham. When he came to me and I heard what he had to say, I knew he was crazy. But you, you believed him."
"Yes."
"Him of all people."
"Yes, Kate, I did, because he said it was the only way I could keep you safe. You and Aaron."
She slaps him across the face. "Don't you say his name. I still have to explain to him why you are not there to read to him. So don't you say his name!"
"I'm sorry."
"I've spent the last three years trying to forget all the horrible things that happened on the day we left. How dare you ask me to go back." She walks to her car, gets in, and drives away.
Sawyer and Sundance Find the Orchid Station
Jack and Sawyer trek through the jungle. Sawyer asks if he's sure they're going the right way."Lapidus said they were headed north of us."
"You might want to slow down a little bit, you look like you're about to keel over, Doc."
"I'm fine."
"Of course you're fine. You're always fine."
They come upon the Orchid Station.
"This it?" Sawyer asks.
"I don't know."
"So what's the plan, Sundance?" Sawyer says.
"The plan is we-" they hear a noise behind them and both pull their guns. It's Hurley, peeing.
"Hugo?" Sawyer says.
"Sawyer," Hurley says and zips up.
"You alright?" Sawyer says.
"Dude, you came back. How'd you know where I was?"
Hurley sees Jack and Jack says it's good to see him and Hurley says, "Yeah, yeah, man, you too."
"So where the hell is he?" Sawyer asks and Hurley takes him to where Locke is outside the Orchid.
Jack calls to Locke and he turns around and says, "Hello, Jack."
Boom
Desmond, Jin, and Michael look at the C-4 on the freighter. Desmond says, "There's enough C-4 here to blow up a bloody aircraft carrier. When I was in the army, I did six months explosive ordinates disposal. Which is just enough time to blow yourself up.""It's on a timer?" Michael says. "Then why hasn't it gone off yet?"
"This is a radio receiver," Desmond says. "Like a walkie talkie. Send a signal and it triggers a bomb remotely."
"So," Jin says, "can we turn off?"
Desmond sighs. "This is a tripwire. Move it and boom. This is dummy wiring. If you cut the wrong one, boom. This is multiple firing systems. You can disable one and the next one, boom. This battery's the power source. You disconnect it-"
"Boom," Jin says.
Locke Needs to Speak With Jack
Jack asks Locke what he's doing. Locke says, "There's a Dharma station below us and I'm looking for a way to get in.""Get in and do what?" Jack asks.
"Hugo, James, would you mind if I spoke to Jack alone?"
They start to walk away and Jack follows. "Don't bother. We just came for Hurley. Let's go."
"Jack you need to hear what I have to say!"
"What I need to do, is to walk back to the chopper, get on it, and get the rest of our people off this island."
"Uh, dude," Hurley says, "probably not the best idea right now. Those Rambo guys are taking Ben to that helicopter. He surrendered himself to them about an hour ago."
Jack looks at Locke. "Now why the hell would he do that?"
Those Rambo Guys
Keamy and his men take Ben through the jungle. Keamy says, "So tell me something, Ben, what is it that makes you so important, hmmm? I'm curious. I'm curious as to why Widmore would pay me so much money just to come out here and capture you and bring you back alive.""Charles Widmore tell you to kill my daughter?" Ben says.
They hear banging and look up to see Frank trying to get himself free of the helicopter.
"Hey!" Keamy yells. "How'd he get the toolbox?" Keamy walks up to Frank and says, "Who gave you the toolbox, Frank?"
"Who, uh?"
Kate runs out of the jungle and Keamy trains a gun on her. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, you're good right there."
She stops. She looks behind her.
"Who are you?" Keamy asks.
"I'm Kate. I'm one of the passengers of Flight 815."
"Why are you running?"
"I'm being chased." She points to Ben. "By his people."
Keamy sends some of his men off. He grabs Kate and puts her next to Ben and tells them to keep their hands above their heads. Ben's and Kate's eyes lock.
They hear whispers and everyone is distracted. As one of Keamy's men goes through the jungle, someone jumps on him from a tree and breaks his neck. Another man is taken down and all of Keamy's men begin to shoot.
One of Keamy's men is hit with a dart and begins to convulse.
"Ben, stay close," Kate says and then yells, "Run!"
Frank sees a grenade land near them and yells, "Grenade!"
Keamy kicks it and it lands by Omar and goes off.
Keamy runs after Kate and Ben. Ben falls and Kate helps him up. Sayid jumps from a tree and tackles Keamy. Keamy's gun goes off as they both try to gain control of it. Sayid pulls a knife from Keamy's belt and stabs him, but Keamy hits Sayid and he goes down. The two continue to fight until Keamy gets on top of Sayid holding a stick across his throat. Richard shoots Keamy and he rolls off of Sayid.
Ben says, "Thank you for coming, Richard."
Kate picks up Keamy's knife and Ben says, "Can you cut me free, Kate?"
Kate pauses, then works on the rope around his wrists.
"What was the arrangement?" Ben asks.
Richard says, "They help us free you and we let them off the island."
"Fair enough," Ben says. "The helicopter is yours. You and Sayid have a safe journey back."
"So we can go," Kate says, "off the island? That's it?"
"That's it," Ben says.
