Jack's Flash Forward - We're All Dead
Jack walks down the hallway of Santa Rosa with Dr. Stillman. The doctor says, "He's refusing to take his meds and he's stopped sleeping.""What about his therapy sessions?"
"Therapy's been rendered useless."
"And why's that?"
"Because he doesn't think I exist."
Jack goes into Hurley's room alone.
"Hey, Hurley."
Staring straight ahead, Hurley says, "Hey, Jack."
Jack sits. "Why aren't you taking your meds?"
"Because we're dead. All of us. All the Oceanic Six, we're all dead. We never got off that island."
"Hurley, that is not true."
"What'd you do today?"
"What did I do today? I woke up, I took a shower, Kate and I fed the baby."
"I thought you didn't want anything to do with Aaron."
"I changed my mind after the trial."
"Living with Kate. Taking care of Aaron. It all seems so perfect. Just like Heaven."
"Just because I'm happy doesn't mean that this isn't real."
"I was happy too, Jack, for awhile anyway. Then I saw Charlie. He likes to sit with me on the bench out on the front lawn. Pretty cool, actually."
"Okay, so what do you two talk about?"
"Well yesterday he told me that you were going to be coming by. He wanted me to give you a message."
"A message?"
Hurley opens a drawer and pulls out a piece of paper. "He made me write it down so I wouldn't mess it up." Hurley reads from the paper, "You're not supposed to raise him, Jack."
Jack gets up.
Hurley says, "Does that make any sense?"
"No, that doesn't make any sense."
"You think he means Aaron?"
"Take your meds, Hurley. Just take them." Jack opens the door.
"Hey, Jack," Hurley says, "Charlie said someone was going to be visiting you too. Soon."
The Medical Station
Sun, Charlotte, Jin, and Daniel trek through the jungle. They come to the medical station and Sun says, "We're here."Jin moves the leaves away and they open the doors. Daniel holds Charlotte back and says, "Why don't you let me go first. You know, to make sure everything is safe."
"Okay. Be careful, Dan."
Daniel goes down and Jin turns to Sun. They speak in Korean.
"Do you think she knows he likes her?" Jin says.
"She's a woman," Sun says. "She knows."
Charlotte turns around and smiles, then goes into the station.
Inside the hidden room, Sun turns on the light.
"Where do you suppose all this power is coming from?" Daniel asks.
"Add that one to the list, Dan," Charlotte says. "Let's just grab the equipment and go, shall we?"
Sun touches the examination chair. In Korean Jin asks if she's alright.
In Korean she answers, "This is where Juliet brought me. This is where I saw our baby." Sun glances at Charlotte and Daniel gathering the equipment and says, "They're not going to help us, Jin."
Charlotte looks over.
Jin says, "Don't worry about them. I promise you, Sun, I will get you and our baby off this island."
Hide from Keamy
Claire with Aaron, and Miles follow Sawyer through the jungle. Sawyer has his gun ready.They go under a branch and Claire stumbles a bit.
"Whoa," Miles says. "You want a hand with the baby?”
Sawyer stops and looks at Miles.
“No thanks, I’m fine,” Claire replies.
“You sure? I’m good with kids.”
“What part of restraining order don’t you understand?” Sawyer asks.
They hear some movement.
“Get behind me, Claire,” Sawyer says.
Frank Lapidus runs into view, surprised to see them and a gun pointed at him. “Whoa, hey!”
“Who the hell are you?” Sawyer asks.
“Lapidus,” Miles says.
“Miles?” Frank says.
“You two know each other?” Sawyer says.
“You’ve got to hide man, right now,” Frank says.
“What?” Miles asks.
“Keamy’s coming back. And if he sees you, he’ll kill all of you. Now hide now, just hide!” Frank says. They rush under cover.
Keamy and his men come into view. Sawyer watches.
“Where’s the chopper?” Keamy asks.
“It’s about a click back that way,” Frank says.
“Did you bring the kit?” Keamy asks.
“Yeah, it’s right here." Frank sees that one of Keamy's men is badly hurt. "Geez man, he looks terrible. What the hell happened?”
“You do your job, I’ll do mine.”
Aaron makes a noise and Keamy and his men look around.
“Okay, it’s getting dark, man," Frank says. "We've got to leave now. Mr. Keamy, we got to get back to the chopper,” Frank says. Keamy goes toward the hiding place and Frank says, "We've got to get back right now, because I'll tell you right now, I am not flying Faraday's bearings at night. I'm not going to do it. So if you want to get back, we've got to leave right now, sir."
"Fine," Keamy says, "you lead the way."
Jack Walks to Surgery
Kate walks up to Juliet and says the tent is all ready."Great," Juliet says. "Listen, I could use an extra set of hands in there. You want to help me out?"
"I don't think it's a good idea."
"It's just holding a mirror. Jack wants to watch the surgery and talk me through it."
Kate smiles and Juliet says, "What?"
"I'm just surprised he hasn't taken it out by himself by now."
Juliet smiles.
Jack walks out of his tent.
Juliet says, "Jack, what are you doing?"
"I don't need a stretcher, I can walk 50 feet."
"I'll help you," Kate says and Jack leans on her.
"They're going to be back with the instruments soon," Juliet says. "We need to be ready to go as soon as they get back. See you in there."
Kate and Jack walk toward the operating tent. "So it looks like I'm going to be your nurse," Kate says.
"Wouldn't be the first time." They go a few more steps and then he says, "Listen, if something happens to me-"
"Shut up, Jack."
"Fair enough."
