Carrying a bag, Frank walks across the deck of the freighter. "Lapidus," Keamy says as he walks toward him. "You ready?"
"I'll be up," Frank says.
"Don't be late, Frank."
Frank walks down a hallway. He sees a woman sitting outside a door, staring at an upside down book. "Regina," he says.
She startles and says, "Frank, I didn't hear you."
"Sorry. Didn't mean to spook you. The captain wanted me to bring these guys some grub."
"Okay," she says.
"You know, your book's upside down."
Frank goes into the room and Sayid and Desmond are inside. "I thought I'd check in on you guys and bring you some food." He looks at Desmond. "How you feeling, by the way?"
"Much better, thanks," Desmond says.
"Why are we being held captive?" Sayid asks. "We had nothing to do with Minkowski's death."
"This has nothing to do with Minkowski," Frank says. "The captain wasn't very happy that you two decided to bust out of sick bay and into our radio room."
"We didn't bust out. The door was left open. We assumed it was you," Sayid says.
"Why the hell would I do that?" Frank asks.
"Did you have any contact with the people on the beach?"
"No luck," Frank says. "Something must have happened with their phone." He dumps out the contents of the bag onto a bed. It's some canned food.
Sayid picks one up. "Lima beans?"
"Sorry, we had a little problem in the kitchen. Just stay put, alright?" Frank turns to leave.
"I still want to talk to the captain," Sayid says.
"No you don't," Frank says. He knocks on the door and says, "Regina."
Baby Names
Sun sits by a fire. Jin brings wood over and sits beside her. "What's wrong?" he asks in Korean."Sayid and Desmond left three days ago. Why haven't they come back?"
"Perhaps they are returning with the ship," he says. "Now come on, we have more important things to talk about."
"Like what?"
In English, Jin says, "Let's talk about baby names."
Sun says his English is getting better and then in Korean says, "It's bad luck to talk about baby names now."
"Superstitious?"
"I don't want to jinx him," she says.
"You mean her."
"Oh, it's going to be a girl, is it?"
"Ji Yeon. I want to name her Ji Yeon."
"I don't want to talk about names."
"You don't like Ji Yeon?"
"No, it's beautiful. Let's get off the island first. Then we can pick a name."
"Deal," he says in English. They shake hands.
Sun's Flash Forward - Labor
Sun packs a bag while a TV plays in another room. She is about to put lipstick on and gets a pain. It passes and she continues, but gets another. She calls emergency services and tells them that she's pregnant and she thinks something is wrong.Jin's Flashback - Panda
Jin goes into a toy store and frantically looks around. The clerk asks if he can help him find something and Jin says he needs a panda. The man shows him to a big stuffed panda bear.Jin says he'll take it. The man asks if he would like it gift-wrapped and Jin says, "No, I have to get to the hospital."
"Maternity ward?"
"Yes." Jin pays.
"You must be very happy. Boy or girl?"
"I don't know yet."
"Don't worry. Everyone loves a panda."
Jin's phone rings and he says he'll be right there. He grabs the panda and runs out.
Poison Gas Factory
Jin sleeps in his shelter and Sun comes in calling his name. She tells him that Kate and Jack are back. They go outside to where Kate is filling her water bottle."What happened?" Jin asks.
"You mean before or after the redhead knocked me out?" Kate asks.
Sun looks over to where Charlotte is. "She hit you?"
Kate nods. "When I ran into them on the way back from Locke's camp."
"Why would she do that?" Sun asks.
"I guess she didn't want to have to explain why she was on her way to the poison gas factory." Kate drinks some water. "Juliet told Jack that it was a power station."
"Why would Juliet lie about that?" Sun asks.
"Force of habit?" Kate says.
"Why were they going there?" Sun asks.
"To turn it off, deactivate the gas. I guess they wanted to earn some brownie points."
"Do you think they’re really going to rescue us?" Sun asks.
Kate says, "In all the time they’ve been here, they’ve talked about a lot of things, and none involve rescuing us." Kate walks away.
The Note
Desmond wakes up in his bed on the freighter. Sayid is already awake, sitting at the desk eating out of a tin can. He says good morning to Desmond, then puts the can down and says, "I hope they resolve their kitchen issues."Desmond sees a note slip through the vent in the door. Sayid opens it. He says, "When I was in Locke's camp, Ben claimed he had a spy on this boat."
The note says, DO NOT TRUST THE CAPTAIN.
Rescue Us?
Sun walks up to Daniel and introduces herself. He asks if there is something he can help her with."I'm two months pregnant."
"Oh you're - wow - uh, congratulations."
"So are you here to rescue us?"
Daniel looks around and Sun says, "It's a simple question. Are you or are you not going to rescue us?"
"Thing is, it's not really my call, Sun."
"Then whose call is it?"
Daniel doesn't answer and Sun says, "Thank you," and walks away.
