There's No Place Like Home Part 2 Flashback Information

Flash Forward Characters: The Oceanic Six
Flash Forward Highlights:

Jack and Kate
Just after yelling to Kate that they have to go back, Kate slams on the brakes and drives back to Jack. She can't believe that Jack is saying that. She can't believe that Jack trusts Jeremy Bentham. She doesn't want him even saying Aaron's name because she still has to explain to Aaron why Jack is not there to read to him.

Hurley and Walt
Walt's grandmother brings him to visit Hurley in the mental institute. Walt says that Jeremy Bentham visited him and he wants to know why the Oceanic Six are lying. Hurley tells him it's to protect the people who didn't come back, like Walt's dad.

Sayid and Hurley
Sayid kills a man who'd been stationed outside the institute for a week. He goes to Hurley's room, where Hurley is playing chess. Sayid tells Hurley that he is going to take him someplace safe. Hurley doesn't want to go back to the island, and Sayid says it's not the island. Hurley says that he's been hanging out with dead people, and he goes with Sayid after saying, "Checkmate, Mr. Eko."

Sun and Charles
Sun goes to London to talk to Charles Widmore. She tells him that they have common interests and that as he knows, the Oceanic Six were not the only people to leave the island. She gives him her business card and tells him to call when he's ready to talk.

Kate and Aaron
In her dreams, Kate wakes in the night and then the phone rings. There is backwards talk on the phone and she gets a gun and goes into Aaron's room, where she finds Claire. Claire tells her not to bring Aaron back to the island.

Jack and Ben
Jack goes to the funeral home and Ben is there. Ben tells him that Jack can't get back to the island unless all of them go together, including Locke, who is in the casket.

There's No Place Like Home Part 2 Island Highlights

On the beach, Daniel tells Charlotte and Miles that they both need to be in the next group he is ferrying, but both of them want to stay.

Frank is still handcuffed to the helicopter and a fight breaks out between Keamy's men and Ben's men. Kate and Sayid help free Ben in exchange for being allowed to leave the island. Richard shoots Keamy in the back.

Sawyer, Sayid, Kate, Jack, Hurley, and Frank leave the island in the helicopter.

On the freighter, Michael sprays the detonator battery with liquid nitrogen while Jin and Desmond try to deactivate the bomb.

Ben and Locke go into the Orchid station and Locke watches the orientation video while Ben loads the vault with metal objects, which the orientation video says never to do.

Keamy comes into the Orchid and says that he has a detonator connected to a heart monitor and that if his heart stops, the freighter will blow. After Keamy makes comments about Ben's daughter, Ben kills Keamy.

The helicopter has a gas leak and Frank is not sure they will make it to the freighter, so Sawyer jumps out to lighten the load. They finally find the freighter and Desmond yells for them not to land because of a bomb. They have to land and patch the holes with tape. Sayid puts gas in the helicopter and they quickly fly away, without waiting for Jin.

In the helicopter, Hurley, Sayid, Desmond, Kate, Jack, Aaron, and Sun see the freighter blow up.

In the Orchid, Ben goes through a hole in the vault created by putting the metal objects inside and turning it on. He goes through a tunnel and turns a winch.

Locke finds Ben's people who are now his people.

There is a bright light and loud noise and the people on the helicopter shield their eyes. When the light disappears, the island is gone. They have nowhere to land and they run out of fuel, crashing into the ocean. They all make it into a life raft, which is later found by Penny.

Jack tells them they have to lie about their story and a week later the Oceanic Six leave Desmond and Frank on Penny's boat and row to an island village.
