Episode 3x3, Further Instructions
Hurley travels from the Others' dock back to the main camp and is almost hit by Locke's knife. He tells Locke that the Others have taken Jack, Kate, and Sawyer and is surprised that Locke isn't doing anything about it.He continues on and is very embarrassed to find a naked Desmond. He gives him a shirt and they continue on to camp. Desmond speaks of a speech by Locke, and later Hurley is surprised to hear the speech Desmond had spoken of.
Episode 3x4, Every Man For Himself
Hurley sees that Desmond has built a tower and asks if it's supposed to be art. Desmond tells him it's an experiment.Episode 3x5, The Cost of Living

With the help of Vincent, Hurley finds a Dharma bus in the jungle. He convinces Jin, and then Sawyer to help him right it. Hurley really wants to get the bus running, which will give him hope.He decides to roll the bus down a very steep hill to try and pop the clutch to get it started. It's a dangerous mission and Charlie jumps into the passenger's seat. Hurley is excited when the bus engine roars and he can drive the bus around.
Episode 3x11, Enter 77
Sawyer challenges some of the survivors to a ping pong match after Jin finds a ping pong table in the jungle. He wants his stash back and says he'll play whoever they choose. If he wins, he gets his stash, if the other person wins, Sun suggests that Sawyer give up nicknames for a week and Sawyer agrees.Hurley plays Sawyer and proves that he is really good at ping pong. Later he tells Sawyer that his mom had a table and he played a lot.
Hurley reassures Sawyer that Kate will be okay.
Episode 3x14, Expose
Hurley wants to figure out how Nikki and Paulo died without any wounds. They look through Nikki and Paulo's shelter and Hurley realizes that Nikki had a guest role on one of his favorite shows, Expose.Hurley gives a speech at the funeral.
Episode 3x15, Left Behind
Hurley makes Sawyer believe that he is about to be banished and that he needs to make amends. He helps Sawyer to be nice to Claire. Sawyer goes with Desmond to get a boar and then Sawyer prepares it for everyone.Later, Sawyer discovers that Hurley made up the whole banishment idea and Hurley says that Sawyer is their temporary leader.
Episode 3x16, One of Us
Hurley is sent to keep an eye on Juliet as she sits on the beach. He makes small talk.Episode 3x17, Catch 22
Desmond convinces Hurley to go with him through the jungle to look for a wire. Hurley gets Jin to go.They find a woman hanging from parachute gear, and Desmond cuts her down.
Episode 3x18, D.O.C.
Hurley accidentally shoots off a flare gun by where they found the parachute girl.Episode 3x19, The Brig
Hurley, Jin, Desmond, and Charlie hide Naomi in Hurley's tent. Hurley wants Jack to check her wounds, but Desmond convinces them that they may not be able to trust Jack. Instead, Hurley goes to Sayid and takes him to Naomi. Then later, he watches as Sayid tries to fix the satellite phone.Episode 3x21, Greatest Hits
Hurley wants to go with Charlie and Desmond to boat out to The Looking Glass, but Charlie says he's too big and he can't go. Charlie gives him a big hug and says to remember that Charlie loves him.Episode 3x22, Through the Looking Glass
Hurley goes with Jack on the hike to the radio tower. When Juliet and Sawyer turn back to see if Sayid, Bernard, and Jin are okay, Hurley wants to go, but Sawyer says he can't.Hurley comes to the rescue on the beach when he drives the Dharma bus in. He runs over Ryan, Sayid trips and kills Jason, and Juliet stops Tom from getting a gun.
Hurley tells the Others on the walkie-talkie that they better stay away from the beach. Jack answers and Hurley says that they are all okay and they will sit there and wait for Jack to phone home.
