25. Sawyer's Frog

Sawyer is annoyed with a tree frog and blackmails Hurley into helping him find it. They find it and Hurley offers to take the frog to another part of the island where maybe he'll find a Mrs. Tree Frog, but Sawyer squishes and kills the frog.

Episode 2x14, One of Them

24. Flintstones

Hurley wants to take Libby to a romantic spot and Sayid tells him of a secluded beach. Libby asks if he's ever seen the Flintstones because they've passed the same tree several times. Hurley says they are almost there and then walks out onto their beach, where Jin is fishing. She wants to have their picnic there, but Hurley didn't bring blankets or wine. She goes to get the blankets, he goes to get the wine.

23. Michael and Eko Talk about Hell

As Michael cleans Libby's blood from the floor, Eko says, "For a brief time I served in a small parish in England. Every Sunday after mass I would see a young boy waiting at the back of the church. And then one day the boy confessed to me that he had beaten his dog to death with a shovel. He said that the dog had bitten his baby sister on the cheek and he needed to protect her. And he wanted to know whether he would go to hell for this." Eko dips the rag in water and rinses the blood. "I told him that God would understand. That he would be forgiven as long as he was sorry. But the boy did not care about forgiveness. He was only afraid that if he did go to hell, that dog would be there waiting for him."

22. Desmond's Snow Globe

Desmond returns on the sailboat and Jack asks why he came back. Desmond laughs. "You think I did it on purpose? I was sailing for two and a half weeks due west, nine knots. I should have been in Fiji in less than a week. But the first piece of land that I saw wasn't Fiji, no. No, it was this island. And do you know why? Because this is it. This is all there is left. We are stuck in a bloody snow globe! There's no outside world, there's no escape!"

21. Kate vs. Jack

Jack tries to prove how good at golf he is to Kate, but his ball goes into a stream. He is about to hit it, but Kate is in the way. He asks her to move, but she seems frozen. He turns to see what she is staring at and sees Eko carrying Sawyer. Jack raises the golf club and Eko says, "Where is the doctor?"

20. Desmond's Story

As they scramble to fix the computer, Jack tells Desmond to tell them what is going on. Desmond explains that three years ago he was on a solo race around the world and his boat crashed into the reef. Kelvin ran out of the jungle. Locke asks about Kelvin and Desmond says that Kelvin brought him there and taught him how to type in the code. Kelvin said he was saving the world. "So I started pushing the button, too," Desmond says. "And we saved the world together for awhile, and that was lovely. Then Kelvin died and now here I am all alone. The end."

19. Kelvin's Story

Desmond finds Kelvin, drunk, below the computer room. He tells Desmond about the failsafe. "Turn this key and this all goes away. Poof."

"What's behind that wall, Kelvin? Huh? What was the incident?"

Kelvin whispers, "Electromagnetism, geologically unique. The incident? There was a leak. So now the charge builds up and every time we push the button, it discharges it, before it gets too big."

"Why make us do it? Push the button? If we can just-"

Kelvin laughs a drunken laugh and closes the security system. "Here's the real question, Desmond-o, do you have the courage to take your finger out of the dam, blow the whole thing up?"

18. Balloon Search

Sayid, Ana-Lucia, and Charlie follow Henry's map, searching for his balloon. Along the way Sayid points out that a geographical touchstone does not mean Henry is leading them to his balloon. "Maybe not," Ana-Lucia says, "but at least we're on the right island." They continue on and Charlie asks if Ana-Lucia is "looking at my bum?" She says she's looking at his gun and he goes to give it to her, but gives it to Sayid instead.

17. Michael was There

When Mr. Friendly had talked to Locke, Jack, and Sawyer when he had found them in the jungle, his people were hiding a short way off with Michael. Alex was taking care of Michael and asked if Claire was okay and if she had the baby.

Episode 2x22, Three Minutes

16. Jin Quits

ABC/Mario Perez
In a flashback, we see Jin working as a doorman. His boss says, "The Seoul Gateway is one of the finest hotels in the country. Do not open the door for people like you!" When a poor man asks if his son can use the restroom, Jin lets him in. When his boss reprimands him, Jin quits.
