Reason for the Flight: Traveling home from her honeymoon in Australia where her husband, Bernard, had taken her to see a healer
Profession: Unknown
Rose Facts:
Pre-Crash: Rose met Bernard one night when she was stuck in the snow. The two hit it off and before long Bernard proposed. Rose told him that she had a terminal disease. She said it was in remission. Bernard wanted to marry her anyway, so they wed.
For their honeymoon, Bernard surprised Rose with a trip to Australia to see a faith healer. Rose was extremely upset because she had made peace with her impending death. Bernard said he had made a large donation and talked her into seeing the healer.
They were returning home on Flight 815.
Island: Even though Bernard was in the tail section of the plane when it went down and was not on the beach with the rest of the survivors, Rose knew he was still alive. The two were eventually reunited.
Bernard worked to get them off the island, but Rose didn't do anything to help. She finally told Bernard that the healer had not healed her, but the island had. Bernard said they would stay on the island forever.
