Episode 5/24/06 Season Finale Preview

"Live Together, Die Alone"

By Bonnie Covel, About.com

Complete Episode Guide: Episode 2x23, Live Together, Die Alone
Flashback Character: Desmond

Synopsis: (From ABC) After discovering something odd just offshore, Jack and Sayid come up with a plan to confront "The Others" and hopefully get Walt back. Meanwhile, Eko and Locke come to blows as Locke makes a potentially cataclysmic decision regarding the "button" and the hatch.

What to look for: This is going to be big (well, of course!). Desmond returns! We'll see the bearded guy, and non-Henry Gale. We're also going to get our first look at Kelvin, the guy who started Desmond on the computer in the hatch, who is supposedly dead. We'll see Alex again, but the most anticipated new character is Charles Widmore!

Bonnie's thoughts: I can't wait to find out more about Charles Widmore! The Widmore company made the pregnancy test Sun took (Ep: 2x16, The Whole Truth), is on an ad on the side of Henry Gale's balloon (Ep: 2x17, Lockdown), was in the background (Widmore Construction) of a Charlie flashbacks (Ep: 2x12, Fire + Water), and is a major part of the book Bad Twin. A lot will be answered in this final episode of the season, but even bigger questions will be raised.
