Synopsis:
(From ABC Television Network) Jack is in command as the fate of Ben's life literally rests in his hands. Meanwhile, Kate and Sawyer find an ally in one of the Others, and Juliet makes a shocking decision that could endanger her standing with her people.Bonnie's Thoughts:
Jack thinks he's in command, but is he really? He wants Kate and Sawyer to get away from the Others, but what will happen to him? And how do Alex and Karl fit into all of this? Alex is probably Danielle Rousseau's daughter and she has some sort of relationship with Ben. He may have raised her as his daughter. But, she seems to not agree with the main group of Others. Remember that she helped Claire to escape from them (Ep: 2x15, Maternity Leave).It also seems that Karl, the man who was in the cage opposite Sawyer's when Sawyer first got there, is Alex's boyfriend. The two don't seem to follow the rules of the Others and it may be one of them who Kate and Sawyer find an ally in. Or, perhaps Juliet is the ally. Juliet makes a shocking decision, perhaps that decision is to help Kate and Sawyer to escape. We really don't know where Juliet stands. She seems to agree with the Others, yet she wanted Jack to let Ben die.
We will learn a lot more about Juliet in this episode, including, I'm guessing, how she came to be on the island. We may also find out her connection to Ben and her connection to Ethan. Who else is she connected to?
Jack is looking pretty chummy with Tom in the promo pictures. I'm not sure that that means anything, Tom seemed to be pretty upset after Jack cut Ben's kidney in the last episode.
I think our time on the smaller island is coming to an end and we will get back to the story of the main characters on the beach. This is the season of the Others, though, so we will be seeing a lot more of them.
