In flashbacks, Jack talks to a nurse over a patient and sees his father in the hallway talking to other doctors. Christian's phone rings and Jack's full attention is on his father. He doesn't answer the nurse's questions.
Christian laughs and talks and Jack looks angry.
He follows his father to a hotel and sees him go into a room. He follows him into the room and Christian looks surprised to see him. "Give me your cell phone," Jack says.
