"He was your responsibility but you gave him away, Claire," Locke says. "Everyone pays the price now."
Claire continues toward the cries and finds a crib with a mobile of four miniature Oceanic planes over it. She reaches down and pulls back the white blanket, but there is nothing there and her hands are covered in blood. She screams and a hand falls on her shoulder and she wakes in the caves.
Claire believes she is being attacked, but no one other than Charlie seems to believe her. She is offended when Jack thinks she is crazy and offers her sedatives.
Later, Claire thinks she is in labor and sends Charlie to get Jack. Charlie gets Ethan to go, and then returns to Claire. They decide it was false labor and begin to go to the caves, but they are stopped by Ethan. Ethan takes Claire and Charlie, but Charlie later returns.
