Sun shoves a gun in Ben's neck and says that he is the reason Jin is dead. Ben says that Jin is not dead and he can prove it. Jack tells Sun that after what Ben did to Kate, if Sun doesn't shoot Ben, Jack will. Ben slams on the brakes and tells Jack that if he knew everything Ben has done to keep him and his friends safe, he would never stop thanking Ben.
Ben takes them to a church where he gives Sun Jin's ring and tells her that Jin gave it to Locke.
Desmond comes over and asks what they are doing there. Ben says probably the same thing he is and Desmond says, "You're looking for Faraday's mother too?"
Without answering, Ben turns and goes into the church. He says hello to Ms. Hawking.
On the island, on the way, Nadine disappears and Jin hears the monster sounds. He tells them to run, but the monster grabs Montand and drags him to a hole. They all hold on to Montand, but he is dragged into the hole when his arm is ripped of.
The flash comes and suddenly Jin is by himself. He sees smoke from a fire, and finds Danielle's camp on the beach. Two men have been shot dead and he sees Danielle pointing a gun at Robert. Robert has a gun by his side. He convinces Danielle not to shoot him by saying he doesn't want anything to happen to her or their baby. She lowers the gun and he points his gun at her, but it doesn't fire. She shoots him in the head.
There is another flash and Sawyer, Locke, Daniel, Charlotte, and Miles are there. Jin has Charlotte translate so that he can figure out what is going on.
Charlotte tells Daniel that she grew up on the island and was part of The Dharma Initiative. She says her mom moved them to London and she never saw her father again. That's why she became an anthropologist, so that she could find the island.
Daniel says he doesn't understand and she says that when she was little a scary man came and told her to never come back to the island or she would die. She thinks that man was Daniel.
At The Orchid, Jin tells Locke not to bring back Sun or his baby. He makes Locke promise. Locke promises but asks what he should say if Sun finds him. Jin gives his wedding ring to Locke and tells him to tell her that he washed up on shore and they buried him.
As Locke descends, there is another flash and he falls to the ground, injuring his leg. He's in the room with the wheel and Christian Shephard is there. He tells Locke that the wheel is off its axis and to give it a slight push. Locke pulls on the wheel.
