Locke Sees Boone in a Vision

Locke wakes in the jungle after the hatch implosion. He sees Desmond run by, but realizes he can't talk. He goes to the beach and Charlie is very smug when he discovers Locke can't speak. Locke communicates by writing on a notepad. He asks Charlie to help him, then builds a sweat lodge. Charlie keeps guard outside.

Locke makes a concoction, then goes into the sweat lodge and eats it. In a vision, he sees Boone, who takes him through the airport in his wheelchair. Locke sees people from the island, but when he points to each of them, Boone says that they are not the ones he needs to help. Locke discovers he must help Eko. He comes out and is able to speak. He and Charlie begin the search for Eko.

They find Hurley, who tells them that the Others have captured Jack, Kate, and Sawyer, and that "Ben" is their leader. Locke remembers that Henry was there in the airport, checking Jack through security.

Hurley continues to camp and Locke and Charlie find a cave. Locke goes into the cave and uses hair spray to save Eko from a polar bear. Locke and Charlie begin the walk back to camp with Eko. Charlie goes to get water and Eko suddenly comes to and talks to Locke. He tells Locke that Locke will save Jack, Kate, and Sawyer.

Hurley finds Desmond and is embarrassed to see that he is naked. Hurley gives him one of his shirts to wear. Desmond mentions a speech that Locke made, but when Hurley doesn't know what he's talking about, Desmond apologizes. Later, when Hurley and Locke are both on the beach, Locke makes the speech that Desmond had been talking about.
