Desmond tries to get Claire to take Aaron and leave her shelter for awhile, but she doesn't because Aaron is sleeping. Desmond goes to Paulo and borrows a golf club and builds a tower with the club on top. Soon after Desmond finishes, lightening strikes the club.

Juliet takes Jack out of his room to help her save Colleen. They can't save her and Juliet tells Jack that she's not used to death. She's a fertility doctor. Jack asks her about the X-rays he'd seen in the other room of a 40 year old man with a tumor on his vertebrae. He wants to know who he was brought here to save.

Kate tries to escape against Sawyer's wishes. She gets out of her cage and he tells her to run, but she won't leave without him and gets back into her cage.

Sawyer has plans for escape, but they don't work and Ben knocks him out. He wakes in a room shackled to a table. They put him out with a huge needle. When he comes to again, Ben comes in with a bunny in a cage and shakes it until it flops to the bottom of the cage. He tells Sawyer that the bunny has a pace maker and died because it got too excited. Sawyer also has a pace maker in him now and if his heart rate goes above 140, his heart will explode. He tells Sawyer that if he says anything about it to Kate, they'll put one in her as well.

After Colleen dies, Pickett pulls Sawyer out of his cage and beats him until Kate admits that she loves him.

Ben takes Sawyer for a walk and tells him that he doesn't have a pace maker in him. Ben shows Sawyer that they are on a smaller island and so there is nowhere to run.
