Michael remembers back to the two weeks he was gone from the Losties. He took off on his own and found a man. Mr. Friendly was there, and so was Alex. They took him through the jungle and he could hear everything that was going on when Mr. Friendly confronted Jack, Sawyer, and Locke in the jungle and took their guns in exchange for Kate.
They took Michael to their camp, which is basically a bunch of yurts. They took his blood and he met Miss Klugh, who asked him a bunch of questions about Walt. She let him see Walt, who told Michael that they are not who they pretend to be. Miss Klugh made Walt leave.
Miss Klugh told Michael that if he frees the man his people have captured and brings Kate, Jack, Sawyer, and Hurley back to their camp, they will let Michael and Walt go free.
