Locke goes into the hatch after Kate. Desmond tells him to tie up Kate and then they talk about the crash. Desmond has Locke type numbers into a computer, which then resets a timer. Kate escapes into the air duct and watches them from above. When Jack comes in she tries to get his attention, but he can't hear her.
Meanwhile, Claire finds the Virgin Mary statue in Charlie's things and asks if he's religious.
