Jin is upset when he sees Sun in a bikini. They argue and Michael steps in. Later, Michael's raft is burned and he blames Jin. Sun reveals that she speaks English so that she can defend her husband. Locke suggests that it's "the Others" who live on the island who may have burnt the raft. Later, when Locke is alone with Walt, he promises not to tell, but he wants to know why Walt burnt the raft. Walt says it's because he doesn't want to leave.
Mr. Paik asks Jin to deliver a message but is upset when Jin delivers the message without any force. He goes with someone else back to the same house, and in order to save the guy, beats him up. Jin visits his father and says that he hasn't introduced Sun to him because he was ashamed.
His father suggests that he get away from Mr. Paik by going to America.
