In a flashback, Young Sawyer is hidden under the bed by his mother. His father shoots his mother, then himself. When Sawyer is an adult, Hibbs, a man that owed Sawyer money, says he found the man that caused the death of Sawyer's parents. Sawyer goes after the man, now calling himself Frank Duckett, but he can't shoot him. Later, in a bar, he talks to a man that turns out to be Jack's father.
Sawyer goes back and shoots Frank, only to find out that Hibbs lied and Sawyer had killed the wrong man.
