Locke studies his foot after the crash.
The survivors are woken in the middle of the night by something in the fuselage. Jack, Sawyer, Kate, and Charlie investigate and find wild boar. The next day, Locke, Kate, and Michael hunt the boar.
During the hunt, Michael is gored and Locke sees the unseen force, then later lies about it.
Without Jack, the survivors burn the fuselage with the bodies in it.
Rose believes her husband, who was in the tail of the plane, is still alive.
In flashbacks, Locke is called "Colonel", but it's just a game. He has a woman friend who turns out to be paid for her services. Locke wants to go on a Walkabout, but is ridiculed by his boss and then turned down by the tour group because he is in a wheelchair.
