In a flashback, Kate is in a bank going under the name Ms. Ryan and asking for a bank loan. Robbers come in and one of them drags Kate off and they laugh and kiss. The robbers get the manager to open the vault, then Kate turns on the robbers and shoots her robber boyfriend.
She asks the bank manager to let her into a safety deposit box, where she takes a small green envelope.
