Claire dreams that she hears a baby cry. She gets up and finds Locke playing cards, then finds blood in a crib. She wakes screaming. She believes that someone is trying to hurt her, but Jack believes that she is having normal pregnancy anxiety nightmares. Jack offends Claire and she decides to move to the beach. She goes into labor when she is in the jungle with Charlie. Her labor stops and as Charlie and Claire head for the beach, they are interrupted by Ethan.
Meanwhile, Hurley creates a census of those on the island and realizes that one person is not on the flight manifest.
Sayid returns to the caves and tells them of the The French Woman.
