    Sawyer sees men ready to shoot Amy. Her husband already lays dead on the ground. He and Juliet save her, by shooting the two men, but then she makes them bury the men because of the truce. Jin carries Amy's husband as they walk to the Barracks. When they get to the sonic fence, Juliet tells her to turn it off. She says she did and walks through. When the rest walk through, they grab their heads and fall to the ground convulsing. Amy takes the ear plugs out of her ears.

    Later, as she sits by her dead husband, Paul, Horace tells her that the hostiles will keep the truce, but they want Paul's body. She says that Paul would want to keep them safe. When no one is looking, she removes the ankh from around Paul's neck.

    Three years later, Amy is married to Horace, pregnant, and friends with Sawyer. When Sawyer brings a drunk Horace home, Amy says that they'd had a fight. She goes into labor and Sawyer tells the doctor to do a Caesarian after the doc says the baby is breach. The doctor says that he's just an internist and that the women go to the mainland to have their babies. Amy is two weeks early.

    Sawyer gets Juliet and she performs a C-section to deliver Amy's baby boy.

  • Episode 5x9, Namaste
    The day after her son is born, Juliet tells Amy that she doesn't want her working and takes the sub manifest. Juliet asks if Amy and Horace have decided on a name and Amy says his name is Ethan.

  • Episode 5x10, He's Our You
    During the meeting where the Dharma folk try to figure out what to do with Sayid, Amy, holding baby Ethan, speaks up to say that she agrees with Radzinsky because she can't sleep with one eye open and she is worried about Ethan and the other children. She helps convince the group that they need to take Sayid to Oldham.
