Flash Foward

Question: Flash Foward
The term "Flash Forward" was first introduced as a result of Episode 3x22, Through the Looking Glass.
Answer: For the finale of season 3 (Ep: 3x22, Through the Looking Glass), instead of seeing flashbacks off the island, we saw 2007 off the island. Technically, this was present time, but for the sake of continuity, I'm going to call it a flash forward, as it is the future for the current island story we are following.

We think of island time as being the present, but the plane crashed on September 22, 2004 and as of the end of season 3, the survivors had only been on the island about 90 days.

For the purposes of this Web site, think of flash forwards as the time after the survivors are off of the island.
