Carlton says there will still be flashbacks and flash forwards, but they are looking at other ways to tell the story as well. They look at each episode and decide what is the best way to tell that particular story.
Damon says that there is a lot of chicken-and-the-egg stuff this season in terms of figuring out what came first. He hopes that the episodes are not too confusing and that there is a continuity between what happens on the island and what is happening off the island and they're gradually moving towards each other.
Carlton says that we'll see all our favorite characters and they are following all of their storylines this year, whether they got off the island or are still on it.
Damon says that the show is best when everyone is together, but if everyone were together all of the time, there would be no conflict and people need to be split up. He promises that they won't be apart all season, though. He says they will get back together sooner rather than later but which Oceanic 6 get back and which stay behind is anyone's guess.
