The Bottom Line

Lost Series 1 Action Figures Photo Gallery

Despite some trouble putting them together and some quality issues, I really enjoy owning a piece of Lost and the all important characters that make up the best show ever. True Lost fans need at least their favorite character figures, if not all of the characters.

My favorite character is Hurley, but my favorite Series 1 Action Figure, well I can't pick just one, I love Locke's and Charlie's!

Guide Review - Lost Action Figures - Series 1

I was so excited to receive my Lost Action Figures and stared at them in the box for several minutes before ripping them open. I first opened Hurley and was amazed by the detail. I began to get frustrated, however, when I went to put the figure into the base. It didn't seem to fit quite right and there was no way I was going to figure out how to put the back drop on.

Lucky for me, my husband came to the rescue, and after messing with it for several minutes, figured out how to put it together, despite the lack of directions.

It did take us almost an hour to put all six together, then we proceeded to put new batteries in each voice box. The Charlie one is awesome! He says: "Guys, where are we?", "You don't know me! I'm a bloody Rock God!", and he sings part of You All Everybody. I love Hurley's, "Stop, wait! The numbers are bad!" as well. Some of the boxes have a bad connection, though. My Hurley and Shannon didn't work until we took them apart and put them back together, and my Jack is slow, so it doesn't even sound like him.

The voice boxes are separate from the figures. I would have preferred to have them as part of the figure or base.

The props that come with each figure are pretty good. My favorite is Shannon's, a full scale replica of Danielle Rousseau's map. Of course it's in French, so I don't know exactly what it says, but it does show the other, smaller island. I already have the lottery ticket that comes with Hurley and the Locke Walkabout Tours poster is ho-hum (I would have preferred a case of knives). I do like the Kate mug shot that comes with Jack and the toy airplane that comes with Kate. And as far as Charlie's prop, now I can say that I own a DriveShaft ring. What a good groupie I am!
