Guide Review - 'Lost - Mystery of the Island' Jigsaw Puzzles

I absolutely love puzzles so I eagerly started in on #3 - The Numbers. Lost - Mystery of the Island Jigsaw Puzzles is a series of four puzzles. The series contains: #1- The Hatch, #2 - The Others, #3 - The Numbers, #4 - Before the Crash. Each puzzle box has the same "warning" written on it in several places: "Spoiler Warning - Secrets are revealed! Do not assemble this puzzle unless you want exclusive new insight into TV's most puzzling drama series." It also says, "Collect all four puzzles to find the true secrets." Ok, who wouldn't want "exclusive new insight" and "true secrets"? Now I'm intrigued.

The idea is to piece together clues that may draw your attention to something you never noticed before. If you have all four puzzles put together at once you can turn them over to reveal a secret message on the back. If you look closely, some pieces have yellowish lines on the back. You'll need a black light to see what it shows.

The puzzle quality is very good. The pieces won't bend and crease easily as you are searching for just the right piece. The picture is secure on the backing and won't peel off with normal use. They interlock well allowing you to pick up a section without it completely falling apart on you. The shapes of the pieces varied with the puzzle. #3 had pieces with odd shapes and sizes while #2 had only squarish pieces of uniform size.

I'm not sure I've gained new insight yet, but then I haven't been able to finish all four. Finding somewhere safe to keep the finished puzzles while doing the next one is a little tricky. Tip: Assemble each puzzle on poster board instead of directly on the table, to make it easier to flip later. If you have the space, the determination, and enjoy difficult puzzles, you'll enjoy these.
