About.com Rating 4.5

By Bonnie Covel, About.com

Issue #4

The Bottom Line

Lost the Magazine is another way to enjoy the show and get more information on our favorite characters.

Pros

  • Interesting behind the scenes looks at the cast and crew
  • Interviews with the writers and producers
  • Just enough hints to make reading the magazine worth while, but nothing to spoil
  • There are great photos throughout the magazine
  • Writers, cast, crew, and producers give insight as to how show ideas were formed and executed

Cons

  • There are a lot of references to Alias (which I don't watch)
  • There are only five issues a year, so it's a long wait between issues

Description

  • 68 pages, bi-monthly subscriptions available (5 issues plus a yearbook)
  • Transmission: The show's writers give hints as to what is coming up
  • Voices from the Fuselage: Fans theories, views, debates, and an online guide to Lost websites.
  • The Island & The Agents: Discusses a Lost character
  • Exclusive posters
  • Salvaged: How things were built (such as the raft, shark, etc.)
  • Get Lost: Lost merchandise
  • Dear Diary: A member of the cast or crew shares about a memorable day on the island
  • The Black Box: Script extracts and exclusive behind-the-scenes photography
  • Exodus: Info on the next issue

Guide Review - 'Lost' the Magazine

I just love getting more information on my favorite show. While Lost the Magazine doesn't give much away in terms of storyline, it's full of great information as far as past storylines, cast, and crew. I love the sections that give insight into what the writers and producers are thinking.

Lost the Magazine is full of great pictures and behind-the-scenes peeks.
