Jin beats up Jae, but can't bring himself to kill him. As he sits in his car, thinking about what he'd just done, Jae lands on his windshield, dead.
The Glass Ballerina Island Highlights
Juliet and Ben chat in the Hydra. Colleen comes down a ladder and asks if she's interrupting. Juliet asks if matters if she were. Colleen tells Ben that the Iraqi found their decoy camp and that they have a sailboat. Ben wonders how they got a sailboat and sends Colleen to put a team together.Sayid, Jin, and Sun float just off shore in the sailboat. A signal fire burns on the shore. Jin says it's time to leave, that Jack is not coming. Sayid says that maybe they can't see the signal fire, and they should sail around the other side of the mountains and start another one.
They sail around and find a dock. Sayid says that it's overgrown and hasn't been used in years. He thinks they should go ashore. Jin asks if it's safe and Sayid says yes.
Sun asks why they are building such a big fire and Sayid says it's for Jack. She wants to know why he's lying to her. He admits that he thinks Jack and the others have been captured. When the Others see the signal fire, they will send a scout team. Sayid will ambush them and kill all but two, using one to force the other to talk. He asks her to please lie to her husband for just 20 more minutes. Once the fire is lit, they'll be no going back.
Later, Jin tells her that he knows what their plan is and he knows she betrayed him. He asks Sayid for a gun. They tell Sun to go back to the boat while they wait for the Others.
That night, they wait in trees and decide that the Others are probably not coming.
On the boat, Sun hears footsteps. Colleen comes down into the cabin and Sun points a gun at her. Colleen says that Sun is not a killer, but Sun shoots her.
Meanwhile, Sawyer and Kate are taken out of the cages and forced to work. Kate loosens rocks with a pick-axe, while Sawyer collects the rocks in a wheelbarrow and puts them in a pile. Pickett threatens to zap them with a tazer if they talk, touch, or don't cooperate.
While they work, Alex whispers to Kate from behind a bush. She wants to know if Kate has seen a boy named Karl in the cages. Kate says no, and Alex says she is wearing her dress.
Sawyer kisses Kate, then fights off some of the Others, until Juliet puts a gun to Kate. The two are thrown back into the cages and Sawyer tells Kate that they just need to wait for the Others to make a mistake.
Ben is in a room full of TVs, watching and listening to Kate and Sawyer.
Ben takes a chair into Jack's room and sits. He tells Jack that his name is Benjamin Linus and that he's lived on the island his whole life. He wants Jack to cooperate and then he'll take him home. He shows Jack a recording of the world series that happened after the plane crash.
