Through the Looking Glass Flash Forward Information
Flash Forward Character: JackFlash Forward Highlights: On an Oceanic flight, Jack asks for another drink, but the flight attendant gives him a newspaper instead. Jack glances at the paper and sees something that catches his attention. He rips an article out of the paper.
Jack drives through L.A. and stops on a bridge. He reads the paper clipping again and then cries. He gets out and stands on the ledge of a bridge and is about to jump when there is a car crash behind him.
Jack gets stitched up in the hospital after saving a woman and her child. Sarah comes in and asks if he's okay. He asks for a ride home, but she says it wouldn't be appropriate.
Jack keeps calling someone who either doesn't answer or he hangs up. He goes to a funeral home and sees a casket. The funeral director says that Jack was the only one to show up and asks if he is friend or family. Jack says neither.
At his messy house, surrounded by maps, Jack calls again and tells the person that he really wants to see her. She finally agrees, and at the airport, Kate comes to meet him. She says he looks terrible. He says that it was a mistake coming back and that they need to go back to the island.
Through the Looking Glass Island Highlights
Jack leads almost all of the survivors on a hike to the radio tower. Jin, Sayid, and Bernard stay on the beach to shoot the dynamite to blow up some of the Others. Sayid shoots the dynamite, then Bernard, but Jin's doesn't blow. Ryan, Jason, and Tom survive and take Jin, Sayid, and Bernard prisoner.Meanwhile, the hikers are concerned because they only heard two explosions and then gunshots. The next day, Kate tries to get Sawyer to go back with her to check on the three that stayed behind, but he won't go. A few minutes later he tells Jack that he's going back and that Kate can't go with him. Juliet says she knows where some guns are hidden and she will go with him. She kisses Jack, in front of Kate, before she leaves.
Juliet tells Sawyer that she lied about the guns because it was the only way Jack would let them go.
Ben gets a call on the walkie-talkie from Bonnie in The Looking Glass. He asks why she's breaking radio silence and she says that one of them is down there. He asks who, and Charlie starts yelling in the background that it's him. Ben sends Mikhail to The Looking Glass, admitting that he lied about it being flooded.
Ben allows Alex to come with him to intercept Jack and his group before they reach the radio tower. She asks why and he says that he's delivering her to her new family because she betrayed him.
Ben asks for five minutes of Jack's time and Jack agrees. Ben says that if Jack doesn't give him Naomi's satellite phone, Ben will let Sayid, Bernard, and Jin die. Jack doesn't give him the phone and he hears three shots over the walkie-talkie. He beats Ben and then has some others tie him up and they make him go with them to the radio tower.
Locke is in the ditch with the skeletons of the Dharma people. He sees a gun and reaches for it. His legs won't move. He is about to shoot himself when he sees Walt standing on the edge of the ditch. Walt tells him to get up because he still has work to do.
In The Looking Glass station, Bonnie and Greta have Charlie tied up and Bonnie keeps hitting him. While the women are in the other room arguing, Desmond pops up in the moon pool. Charlie tells him to hide and he hides in a closet.
Mikhail also comes to The Looking Glass. He goes in the other room when Ben radios. Ben tells him to kill Charlie and Greta and Bonnie. He kills Greta, and Bonnie runs. He shoots her in the back, but doesn't kill her. Before he can shoot her again, Desmond shoots him with a spear gun.
Charlie gets the code for the jamming equipment from Bonnie before she dies. He turns off the jamming equipment and gets an incoming call from Penny, but before Desmond can talk to her, Charlie sees that Mikhail is outside the porthole with a grenade. Charlie shuts the door, the grenade goes off, and water floods the room. He writes on his hand "Not Penny's Boat" so that Desmond will know that Naomi was not hired by Penny. Charlie drowns.
At the beach, Sawyer and Juliet watch the Others who have Bernard, Jin, and Sayid hostage. All of a sudden, Hurley drives the Dharma bus right at Ryan and runs over him. Sayid trips Jason and breaks his neck. Tom surrenders, but Sawyer shoots him anyway for "taking the kid off the raft".
Jack's group reaches the radio tower and turns off Rousseau's message. Naomi dials the phone, but Locke shows up and throws a knife in her back. Jack picks up the phone, despite Locke telling him not to. Locke can't shoot Jack and Jack talks to someone on Naomi's boat who says they can get a lock on their position and they will be there soon.
