Stranger in a Strange Land Flashback Information

Flashback Character: Jack
Flashback Highlights: Jack is in Phuket Thailand trying to find himself. He meets a Thai woman, Achara, who speaks English and they form a relationship. Achara often gets envelopes from men, but she won't tell Jack anything other than that she has a gift. She is not interested in Jack's past, either.

Jack follows her and finds her in a tattoo parlor. He asks if that is her gift and she says that her work is not decoration, it is definition. She acts very scared that he is there. She can see who people are and she marks them.

Jack forces her to mark him, even though she says there will be consequences. Later, Jack is attacked and told to leave the country while an upset Achara looks on.

Stranger in a Strange Land Island Highlights

Sawyer and Kate make it to the main island with Karl. Karl tells them that his people don't live on the smaller island, that they just work there on projects. Later, Sawyer finds him crying in the jungle and lets him go.

Sawyer points out that Kate feels guilty for hooking up with Sawyer, but Kate denies it. They start back to the main camp.

Jack is moved from his room in the Hydra and Juliet is put there. Later she comes to him in the cage to tell him that Ben's stitches are infected and would he come look at them? Jack tells her he won't.

Isabel takes Jack to an interrogation room where she asks him if Juliet had asked Jack to kill Ben. Jack says no and Isabel wants to know why he's lying.

Alex finds Jack in the cage and asks why he saved Ben after everything that Ben had done to him. Jack says he did it because he said he would. Alex tells him that Juliet is at her verdict reading and Jack asks her to get him out. He goes to Ben and asks that Juliet be saved. Ben sees to it that Juliet is not executed, but he allows her to be marked on her back.

They all leave the smaller island because Jack's group knows where it is.
