A Tale of Two Cities Flashback Information

Flashback Character: Jack
Flashback Highlights: Jack spies on Sarah, trying to figure out who she is seeing. He takes her cell phone and calls the numbers in it, saying that he found the phone on the train. Christian Shephard catches him calling and tells him to just let it go. Jack dials a number while Christian is standing there and Christian's phone rings. Jack wants to know why Christian's number is in Sarah's phone. Again, Christian tells him to just let it go.

Later, Jack sees his father talking and laughing on his cell phone, and follows him to a hotel. In a hotel room, Jack finds his father at a support meeting. He wants to see his father's cell phone and they argue. Jack ends up in jail, where Sarah bails him out.

He sees her with a man and asks if that's him. Sarah says it doesn't matter, it just matters who Jack isn't.

A Tale of Two Cities Island Highlights

Juliet is in her house, preparing for the book club meeting, but things aren't going well. At the meeting, Adam talks negatively about the book she picked, and she stands up to him. The room shakes and they all head for the doorways. They go outside where everyone is coming together and see a plane in the sky. Its tail section separates from the rest of the plane as it goes down.

Ben tells Goodwin to go to the tail section and Ethan to go to the fuselage section and act like they were on the plane. Ben wants a list in three days.

Sawyer is in a giant cage. Another man is in a cage across from him. Sawyer pushes a button to try to get food, but gets a shock and is thrown to the other side of the cage. The man in the other cage picks the lock, gets out and lets Sawyer out, but they are both captured and Sawyer is thrown back into his cage.

Sawyer figures out how to work the levers in order to get food. He gets a fish biscuit that doesn't look very appetizing.

Kate is with Tom, who tells her to take a shower. When she gets out of the shower, her clothes are gone and there is a note to wear the dress. She puts it on and Tom takes her to a table on the beach, set for breakfast. Ben is there and tells her to enjoy this because the next two weeks will be very unpleasant.

Tom takes her to the cage across from Sawyer's. Sawyer asks if she's hungry and tosses her the fish biscuit.

Jack is in a dingy room that is separated down the middle by glass. On the other side, Juliet talks to him. She tries to give him food, but he rushes the door and escapes. The door he opens lets in a flood of water. Juliet knocks him out and puts him back into the room. He guesses that they are in an underwater aquarium. Juliet says that the Dharma people called it the Hydra.

Juliet has a book about Jack. He asks if Sarah is happy and Juliet says she is very happy.
