Jin's Flashback - Confrontation With Jae

Jin sits outside a hotel and sees Jae. He follows him into the hotel and beats him up.

"Do you know why I'm here?" Jin says.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Jae says.

Jin holds a pillow and gun to Jae's head, but can't shoot. He tells him to leave the country and never come back. "Start a new life, and if you have any contact at all, I will finish this. You don't exist!"

Jin goes out and sits in his car.

Jae lands on his windshield, dead. He's clutching the pearls he had tried to give to Sun.

Sun Meets Colleen

"I don't think they're coming," Sayid tells Jin.

Colleen climbs aboard the sailboat. She goes down in the cabin and sees the pot on the stove. Sun trains the gun on her and says, "I want you to let me off this boat."

"I can't do that," Colleen says. Sun asks why and she says, "It's not my decision to make. Do you realize there are five of my friends up there?"

"Lower you voice," Sun says.

"Ok," Colleen says and starts to walk toward Sun.

"Stop or I'll shoot."

"No you won't, Sun. I know you Sun Kwon, and I know you're not a killer. Despite what you might think, I am not the enemy. We are not the enemy. If you shoot me that's exactly what we'll become." She keeps walking toward Sun and Sun warns her again, then shoots.

Sun runs into a room and shuts the door. More shots are fired toward her. Sayid and Jin run down the dock, but are being shot at.

The boat takes off. Sun opens a sky light and climbs out. Tom sees her and shoots. She falls in the water. Meanwhile, Jin has jumped in and swims toward the boat, yelling.

The boat sails away and Sun yells. They swim to each other and hug.

Sun's Flashback - Jae's Funeral

Sun stands a ways back from the funeral. There is a large picture of Jae and people paying their respects.

Mr. Paik walks up behind her and says that she shouldn't be there.

"Father," she says. "What are you doing here?" He says he does business with the young man's father and that he heard he jumped from a balcony. "He must have felt great shame," Mr. Paik says. "Go home to your husband."

She asks if he will tell Jin and Mr. Paik says it's not his place to tell him.

Sayid is Sorry

Sun sits on the shore and Jin covers her. He says he doesn't know what he would do without her and puts a hand on her stomach. "Both of you."

"I'm sorry I dragged you into this," Sayid says. "And please communicate to your husband, the next time, I will listen to him. We should go. We have a long walk ahead of us."

Back in the Cages

Sawyer coughs and Kate says, "What the hell were you thinking?"
"I couldn't help myself," Sawyer says. "You just looked so damned cute swinging that pick-axe."
Kate rolls her eyes.

"Chain gang looks good on you, Freckles." He says that two of the guards have some real fight in them, but he's not worried about the rest of them. The heavy set guy packs a heck of a punch and one guy has martial arts training, but Sawyer thinks he can take him. "Oh, and FYI, those zapper things got a safety on them."

"Did you see the look on their faces when you got a hold of that rifle?"

They both smile and Sawyer says, "I'm guessing most of these boys have never seen any real action, but that blond who had the gun pointed to you, she would have shot you. No problem."

"Why'd she call you James?"

"'Cause that's my name. I noticed something else too. You taste like strawberries."

"You taste like fish biscuits."
"Well, Shortcake, now we wait for these bastards to make a mistake."

Ben is in the TV room, watching and listening to Sawyer and Kate.
