Sun's Flashback - The Glass Ballerina

A glass ballerina spins in front of a fireplace, then falls to the ground and shatters. A young girl of around nine looks horrified and runs out of the room.

Later, we see her playing the piano. Mr. Paik comes into the room and she stops playing. As he walks toward her, she steps backward. He holds up a bag of broken glass and asks if she broke the ballerina.

She shakes her head and he asks who did. She answers, "the maid." He says that if the maid did it, he will have to fire her, does she understand?

The girl nods. Mr. Paik says, "Sun, who broke the ballerina?"

Sun says, "The maid did."

Sayid's Signal Fire

Sun splashes her face with water in a bathroom. Jin knocks on the door and in Korean tells her to open it.

She says she's okay, that it's just morning sickness.

They go up the boat stairs, where Sayid is marking on a map of the island. Jin says something and Sun translates, "My husband says that it is time to go. He doesn't think Jack and the others are coming. It's been over a day since we lit the fire. They should be here by now."

Sayid says, "Jack knows we're out here. He's counting on our signal." He stands and looks at the pillar of black smoke and suggests that maybe the mountains are blocking their signal. He wants to sail to the other side of the mountains and start another signal fire.

Jin says no, and Sayid says he won't abandon Jack. Sun tells Jin, "Sayid says-"

Jin grabs her and says Sayid is not her husband. She pulls away and gives him a deadly look. "My husband thinks we have to do as he says because he's the only one who knows how to sail, but he's wrong. I can help you sail the boat."

Sailboat

Jack is propped against the far wall in the Hydra. A man opens the door and Juliet walks in with food. She asks if Jack is feeling any better. "I made the soup myself, but I won't take it the wrong way if you don't like it." She knocks on the door twice and it opens.

She walks down the hall and knocks on another door twice. Ben opens it and takes off his glasses. Behind him are a bunch of TVs, one shows Jack in the room.

She raises her eyebrows and Ben smiles. "You never made soup for me."

A woman climbs down a ladder and sees the two. "Am I interrupting something?"

Juliet looks pleased. "Would it really matter if you were?"

She looks at Ben. "We have a situation. Brian radioed in. The Iraqi found the decoy village."

Ben shrugs. "Good, it's what we wanted."

"Brian followed him back to shore. Ben, they have a sailboat."

Perplexed, Ben says, "How?"

"I have no idea!"

Very calmly, Juliet says, "So, they have a boat. Sailing in circles will keep them busy."

"They could find us," the other woman says. "Ben?"

"I'm thinking," Ben says. "How quickly can you put together a team?" he asks and she says within the hour. "Then don't waste time talking to us."

She turns and starts up the ladder. "Hey, Colleen," Ben says, "I want that boat."

Outside the Cages

Sawyer puts a rock on one lever in his cage, pushes the button, and throws his shoe at the other lever. The music wakes Kate in the cage across from him and she says, "Nice alarm clock."

"I've woken up to worse. Want half a fish biscuit?"

Tom, Pickett, and others come and open the cages. Pickett motions for Sawyer to come out of the cage and hands him a lunch box, saying he will need to keep up his strength.

They begin to walk, but Colleen calls, "Danny wait." Pickett says to hold up and goes back to talk to her.

"They have a boat," she whispers. He tells her to be careful out there and kisses her on the cheek. He asks Sawyer what he's looking at, then they move out.

Sun Should Not Disagree With Jin

Sun apologizes to Jin for disagreeing with him, especially in front of Sayid. He says she shouldn't have disagreed with him at all. He wants to know why she came.

"I didn't want to be without you," she says.
