The Feast
Sawyer pours beer on the roasting boar. He walks over and talks to Charlie. Charlie tells him it's delicious."I hope you'll remember this little barbecue at your meeting later."
"Oh, what meeting?"
"Hurley told me about the vote."
"Vote? Since when does anyone around here vote?"
Sawyer goes to Hurley and says, "You son-of-a-bitch! There wasn't ever gonna be no vote."
"But wasn't it nice being nice?""You tricked me into being decent? That's got to be the lamest con in the history of cons."
"Wasn't a con, Dude. If you're going to be our temporary leader, you've got to do some damage control."
"Temporary leader?" Sawyer says. "What the hell you smoking?"
"Jack's gone, Locke's gone, Kate and Sayid. You're all we got. When Paulo and Nikki died, we all looked to you. Then again, you did try to steal the diamonds, but we wanted to look to you. Look around, you made everyone happy. Just for today, they can eat boar, laugh, and forget that they're totally screwed. And you did that for them, Dude, you."
"Well what if I don't want to be their leader."
"I don't think Jack wanted to either. Sucks for you, Dude."
Sawyer looks around at everyone eating and having a good time. Sawyer makes a plate and Hurley takes it to Desmond. Sawyer gives Claire a plate and takes Aaron. He looks over and smiles at Sun, but she doesn't smile back.
Kate's Apology
Kate and Juliet approach the Others' living quarters. "Sayid's in one of those backyards over there," Juliet says. "I'll go get him. You should get Jack."Kate goes into the house and sees that it's in shambles. She finds Jack laying on the floor and wakes him up.
"What happened?"
"They all left," she says.
He sits up. "What?"
"Because of me. I'm so sorry. I should have listened to you. I never...I wanted to come back to help you. But you didn't need me to. And now because of me, you can't go." She cries. "I'm so sorry. I am so sorry!"
Jack looks away. "They just left?" He looks back at her. "Even, even Juliet?"
Kate looks upset. "No, they left her too."
"Why?"
"You know her better than I do. Now what?"
"Now, now we go back."
Kate helps him up and they go outside.
Kate's Flashback - Cassidy's Pregnant
Cassidy drives Kate back to her car. "Thanks for everything, Cassidy," Kate says."You got it," Cassidy says.
"So," Kate says, "this guy who ripped you off, you going to give me his name, tell me where I can find him?"
She doesn't say anything and Kate says, "You almost got arrested for me, Cassidy. I want to help you."
"I'm pregnant. It's his. The baby is his. And I still love him."
"So call the cops. Have him locked up."
"Will you ever forgive your mom for calling the cops?"
"No. No, I won't."
Cassidy nods. "Thanks, Lucy."
"My name's Kate." They smile at each other and Kate gets out.
Jack and Juliet
Outside the house, Jack asks Juliet if she's okay. Sayid walks over and says he's checked all the houses and everyone is gone. There are no weapons and no trail.Jack says they should take what they can and head out while it's still light. Jack walks off with Juliet.
"She is not coming," Sayid says.
"Yes she is," Jack says. Sayid wants to know why and Jack says, "Because they left her behind too." Jack and Juliet walk off and Kate and Sayid look at each other, then follow.
